Hello EVE Team,
I installed EVE-NG on ESXI 5.5, it worked very well until I decided to be "smart".
What I did is delete 1st NIC on EVE VM, which was vmxnet3 in an attemp to change with a E1000 one. I was watching the "how to connect clouds to unetlab/eve".
The problem is that EVE broke, so I decided to install a fresh one, but now, every install I make, so a fresh EVE, doesn't start my interfaces. Take a look into print screens. I do rm -f /opt/ovf/.configured, I run the setup again, I select static, everything ok, but interfaces are not up.
Really don't know where to go from this point. What other information do you need from my side please ?
Many thanks,
Ciprian.
EDIT : Here is how service networkctl status looks like :
Eve-NG - No IP address on interface eth0

Re: Eve-NG - No IP address on interface eth0
dont delete faulty eve vm but import beside fresh new...
sometimes happens that mac address remember what vm was and try force it same settings..
if this not help, then something wrong with your esxi...
