Hello Uldis.
I opened EVE Comm Edition.ova (2.0.3-82 EVE-NG) in VMware Workstation 14.0 and was able to import the VM fine.
I set a static IP address/Mask/DNS etc.
I can ping the VM's static IP Address, the default gateway on the VMNet, and can ping the internet and resolve DNS, all from the EVE VM. I can also ping from the laptop (hosting VM Workstation) to the static VM address.
When I try to http://192.168.137.127/ (the static IP address I have given the EVE VM) I get "Connection Refused".
I can SSH to this address however and am able to login.
When I do a netstat -an | grep tcp from the EVE VM CLI, I can't see tcp port 80 listening on the static IP of 192.168.137.127.
Have I forgotten something or doing something silly?
Have you any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mark

all simple, you have not set IP settings sir.
If it is bridged management interface, GW must be you real LAn GW IP.
If it is NAT adapter , GW must me .2, which is NAT adapter IP...
