Idle-PC value

Post by mmbarnes3 » Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:22 pm

Hi,

I've managed to calculate a list of idle values and restart dynamips using the below command

dynamips -P 7200 -t 7200 --idle-pc 0x62f224ac /opt/unetlab/addons/dynamips/c7200-adventerprisek9-mz.152-4.S6.image

trouble is no matter which i try I cannot seem to find one that brings down the CPU below 100% i have an i5 7th gen, not sure if i am doing something wrong, once i load dynamips with the above command, do i need to then save the idle value in some way, or should this just save with that value as soon as you run that command?

EVE-NG not required idle PC, that is for GNS3

Initially it will hit the CPU to start, once it boot it will be stable. start one by one node, because of your hardware resources

R!
