problem with rlogin

Hi,

I need help. I want connect(telnet or ssh) to a switch using VPCS. I use command rlogin <IP> <Port No.> (i use 2000, a don't know right number of port).
Respond is
rlogin 1.1.1.2 2000

Connect 1.1.1.2:2000, press Ctrl+X to quit
NOTES: you will be back to the starting point, NOT THE LAST,
if using Ctrl+X to quit.

Disconnected from 1.1.1.2:2000
............
Can somebody help me. How i can connect?
