win10 VM crash with viostor.sys

Post by Richard70 » Fri Mar 20, 2020 10:05 pm

Hello,

I'm using eve-ng community 2.0.3-105, and getting from time to time Win10 crash with viostor.sys (code DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL).
Couldn't find any reference in previous topic.
Would you know what could be the issue ?
Procedure described in Hownto was followed.
Qemu ver: 4.1.0
Qemu Arch: x86_64
Qemu Nic: tpl(e1000)
Qemu option (default one): -machine type=pc,accel=kvm -cpu host,+pcid,+kvm_pv_unhalt,+kvm_pv_eoi,hv_spinlocks=0x1fff,hv_vapic,hv_time,hv_reset,hv_vpindex,hv_runtime,hv_relaxed,hv_synic,hv_stimer -vga std -usbdevice tablet -boot order=cd -drive file=/opt/qemu/share/qemu/virtio-win-drivers.img,index=1,if=floppy,readonly

Thanks.
Rich

No.
I don't know if it is related, but sometimes when shutting the guest win10 VM, the node simply never stops ( the node stays in blue in eve GUI).
I don't have this inssue with Win7.

It's worst than ever, VM crashes at the boot. :)
I'll start from scratch the installation.
Thanks.
