EVE + CUCM and UCCX on ESXI

Post by tanrn » Thu Sep 10, 2020 12:47 pm

Hi, I just want to ask if it is possible to run these lab applications and setup?

- EVE-NG to connect with CUCM and UCCX
- Both applications are on a single ESXI
- I am running my ESXI on an i7-10th gen device
- So typically, all are virtualized with no physical router or switches included. Would that be possible?

Thank you, Sir! Really gave me an idea on how to setup my lab :)
Got some question about it.
I tried to create an interface on my Eve-NG VM. But when I add a node, it is not changing the type like showing either pnet1 or pnet2.
It only shows:
bridged
Management(cloud0)
Cloud1-9.

look at two of my designs, one is bare server EVE
or
ESXi EVE
It is integration of EVE with real hardware equipment

Thank you Sir Uldis.
The one topology you've mentioned on LinkedIn was you connect eve to a different vm like ACS or WSA right?
I am trying to achieve that using EVE(Router and switches) connected to CUCM all on a single ESXI, just segration through vswitch.
But I am having issues on the connectivity to CUCM.

Attached is my sample topology which I am trying to setup like the one you've sent.
I have configured all SVI and routing on the Router.
