Blank telnet via native/HTML5 console

Post by drbabbers » Fri Mar 05, 2021 1:43 pm

All,

I have a new install of EVE-NG Community running on Mac Big Sur 11.2.2 with VMware Fusion 12.1.0. Whenever I attempt to load an image (Cisco VIRL) I am getting a blank response on the console. I have tried this using native (with the client pack) and also via HTML5. In both examples I see the same issue.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Many thanks,
D

Not all Big Sur MACs are supported.
Make sure that HW compatibility for EVE VM on Fusion is set vers 18

Yes this has fixed the issue! The version of virtual machine was the lowest and I don't think the nested virtualisation was supported in this version. Going to the latest version in Fusion and then ticking the box for IOMMU has resolved the issue. It's funny as this was all working before the Big Sur upgrade! Anyway all good now. :)

Thank you so much for your help.
