Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Can not add any node to topology other than VPC

Post by abteenz » Sat Apr 15, 2017 12:19 am

Hi all,

Used unetlab before. I remember that there was some labs coming with it.

Recently I've download 3 different versions of EVE-NG but non of them give me the ability add any device to the topology.

this folder is completely empty /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/

any help is much appreciated.

I believe that you need to add images into EVE.

By default it does not come with any. I'm sure if you look around on the Internet you will find some. After you find them you have to upload them into the EVE system.

Here is one that I found helpfull - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGCTzZPQoHY&t=9s

I found the video description helpful and he also has a few more videos that are good. Being new to this myself I'm still learning what are the best images to run but this is a good starting point.
