Help with SonicWALL NSv
Hey. I'm new to EVE-NG and have been using GNS3/VIRL for years. I think I have the process down of converting vmdk's, etc over to qcow2 formats. I see in the node list that the SonicWALL NSv virtual firewall is supported. My company I work for are gold partners with SonicWALL and I got the SonicWALL 200 VM. The file first came as an .OVA file, I extracted the .OVA to get the .VMDK file. I then did the normal operation of converting the .VMDK file to a qcow2 file and re-namining it virtioa.qcow2 and fixed the permissions. I still have the image grayed out once I try to add it to a lab. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Chaz.

What should be the folder name? The name of the appliance in EVE-NG?

Re: Help with SonicWALL NSv
Thanks for the link. So I have my folder name as sonicwall and the file is now renamed to sonicwall.qcow2. Is this correct?

Re: Help with SonicWALL NSv
Thank you! I have a SonicWALL now running in EVE. It's still booting up, so hopefully it works!

Re: Help with SonicWALL NSv
So the SonicWALL is partially booting up and then goes into a boot loop cycle. I have the NSv200 running 6.5 code. Is there a specific version EVE-NG supports?

Re: Help with SonicWALL NSv
it looks like this version is not supported as KVM image.
I tried convert it to qcow2 but same result as you told me, nooting by half, it starts but not going forward.
older version 11 worked fine
