Hi

I have exactly the same problem "ERROR: QEMU Arch is not set (80015).", but end up at the Shell> prompt

Im running 2.0.3-71

Any idea's? I've tried re-installing and deploying from the OVA but still no luck.

Thanks

I am also seeing the same thing on both ASAv and CSR 1000v and running the latest 2.0.3-71.

I have re-deployed the OVA and tried a fresh build no other images or anything, what do you mean by wipe?

redeployed the ova?
for importing the image into eve you should follow this howto:
http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... x9k-switch

to wipe, right click a node and click on wipe :-)
this removes the current state of the VM and the next time you hit start it starts from the base image

Sorry for you.

I realise that the black point of EVE is image provisioning.
You have to follow very carefully the howto's to deploy images.

If so, all should going well.

In your case, if VT is on, only 2 reasons possibles:
- Bad architecture ( AMD )
- Bad images

Ah ok, yeah sorry i should have explained a bit better and probably started a new thread but i seem to have the same error.

This is a brand new deployment of EVE-NG, and I followed those exact instructions to import the 9k image, and when it starts up it just puts it to a 'Shell' prompt.

I thought there was something wrong with how i built eve-ng, so I downloaded the pre-built EVE-NG OVA and tried again, and i get the exact same error.

this is what i get when i try to boot the 9k, (i also can't start an arista node, but i can start a VPC)

See https://pasteboard.co/GGxytPq.png

the recurring error I'm seeing is "ERROR: QEMU Arch is not set (80015)." and this is on the vAOS as well. Ive tried both filename's of sataa and hda, but the fact i can't start an arista imagine either seems odd.

The 9k image is downloaded direct from disco's website so i can't see how the image would be corrupt, and i've got an old UNL VM which starts up no problem on the same server, its an intel xeon e5520, vt-x is enabled

thanks

I think this is down to the transfer setting in WinSCP!

Changed to binary file transfer and its worked straight away! (was set to auto and must have been using text!)
