Is there an option where we can retain the vlan database?
i just notice that when I create a L2 topology , configured vlans on it , wr mem and export startup , and the moment I return back to my lab , load the startup configs, the vlans is not there and I need to reconfigure all vlans again on the switches?
am i missing some steps or is it really possible?
any help is appreciated.

Re: Vlan database ?
export startup does not export vlan database file. It is known fact.
if you wish to be VLANs exported in the startup cfg, use vtp mode transparent.
