IOUWEB not getting an IP

I am needing to get my IOUWEB back online so I can get some files, but having issues getting it an IP address.

I import the OVF, login and run:

/etc/init.d/ovfconfig force-config

i go through the setup, it reboots and the http line shows ///

When i do a ifconfig it just shows the loopback.

I have tried a vm nic with bridge and vmnet1 host only with no success, can anyone assist?


bringing up interface eth0: device eth0 does not seem to be present.

This was an exported vm from another host. Issues with a hardware mac?
