Cisco XRv 9000 ping neighbour ip address issue

Post by Kevin » Sat Oct 14, 2017 3:30 am

Hi,
I got my eve version 2.0.3-77 running in ESXi5.5 fine, also I loaded the cisco ASR 9000 software iosxrv-k9-demo-6.1.2 in eve.
The device boot up OK. after I configured the IP address, I am not able to ping the neighbour IP address. I have tried to link it to other IOU/IOL, vIOS, Dynamips images (Cisco IOS) device's interface. but still unable to ping the neighbour IP address.
Any one has the same problem in your eve lab?
I saw other people has the similar problem in GNS3 and got it fixed. Hope I do not have to go back to using GNS3.
for you easy to test, here is the link to download iosxrv-k9-demo-6.1.2 software.
