Hi
I conduct trainings from time to time for networking professionals, mostly for MikroTik equipment. I use real equipment, but would also like to introduce the participants in EVE and the unlimited features it can offer.
What would you suggest for:
1. hardware of a server running ESXi
2. License of EVE
for a class of max 7-8 users and 1 trainer (admin). The users should be able to login and work in their own labs, but also possibility to work simultaneously in the same lab?

Re: EVE on a classroom
First question, how big is your lab? how many nodes..
You can use our resource calkulator and approximately calculate one lab resource use.

Then multiply it with your students quantity.
Such way you will know what server, CPY, RAM you need for class.
Educational center model is>
Base lic (x2 admins) +
lab users xX students you have in class.
All is explained in EVE cookbook section 4.
