Hi Guys,
I have run into a strange issue. Every time i start a new node it comes up with a specific startup config, its not blank. Not sure from where its getting this config.
For eg: When i add a new IOSXR router and boot it up, it comes up with some configs (like IP, VRF, BGP, OSPF) configs already present. Even if i erase this config and add a new set of configs, it still comes up with that specific startup config. Even when i wipe the router it does not comeup blank. If i export the new configs & set startup as exported, it shows the correct config in the startup tab but the actual router comes up with the same old startup config.
It there a way i can check whats the 'default' startup config of any image on eve? How to fix this?
Regards,
MK

First question, where did you get this image ?!?!
images which has been comitted configs, for sure were in hands of some user..
he mades commit on the node in his lab, and after shared this image to you..
It is 100% image issue...some simply shared with you crazy image....
Make sure you are using really clean images but not shared in warez...

Hi Uldis,
Thanks for the response. This image was downloaded from CCO. It did not have the configs initially.
Just wanted to check if there are any other scenarios where this will happen?
I am currently using another image which does not have this issue.
Rgds,

Clean original image from cisco page is LEAN... and until it is not committed by user is is clean
using our how to make image, is 100% clean image prep way....
Sorry I dunno what are you doing in there

Hi Guys,
I'm expriencing same problem with Nokia SROS with pretty sure valid software. some nodes are booting up with old spesific config. and not cleared even rebooted the node.
Do you know where the startup configs are stored , wanna erase it?
