I know it can be done with a valid $$ license agreement, but as a student trying to study for an NSE4, how can I get a virtual image? i.e. cisco IOL, linux, etc for use within EVE NG to study?

i am NSE4 myself and studying for NSE7. As for the images, you would need access to support.fortinet.com if your work has a contract, you can login and download the build1010 of FGT 6.2.2 (download the ....kvm.out file) and load it in the FG. then you can register your FG VM to Fortiguard if you setup the FG to have access to internet, this is required to register the device.

As for Cisco, you need a valid contract or a VIRL license. I went the VIRL license since it's only 199$/yr.
