Issue usually is with DNS IP !!!
you have ti be sure if your esxi subnet can reach internet !!!
in case if your EVE management is in same subnet.
as well check if on the VMnet is enabled Promiscue mode in security options

Hello,

From the EVE server I can ping the Internet with no issue, when I create a lab with a linux connected to the cloud I don’t get the dhcp from the vnet, what I did not du is put in promiscuous mode the network cards.

thanks.

try any other node like cisco router if it get IP from your dhcp...
Your linux node could have issues in compilation, thats why not get IP...
Linux node before make default image, must remove default network settings
rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

here is it, L3 interface to cloud0 from vIOS SW:
ESXi EVE install, ESXi v6.0
