Best Cisco Switch Finctionality?
I've decided to try get eve to work for routing and switch functionality emulation. I'm wanting to get as much cisco IOS functionality as I can. I'm completely out of the loop, but so far I have tried GNS.. vtp didnt work great.. I'd like to find a complete solution without having to buy equipment. Can you guys please advise?

Re: Best Cisco Switch Finctionality?
you can look in our web which images we do support.
But features sorry it is not EVE issue, mate, but image provided by vendor.
VTP works on vIOS, IOL switches, dynamips too, switchrouter 3725 with switchcard 16 ports.

Could you help me to get to grips with the variations please? I'm completely confused.. as to why we need the variation of images and methods to as a result obtain working images within the EVE environment.
I'm from the packet tracer & previous GNS days.. All I'm trying to achieve is cisco routing and switching functionality up to ccnp for rns and security level. Can you break down what I should look to be doing please?
Thanks btw, for getting back to me.

Get Node images from other vendors either googling to certcollection.org.
there is some labs already shared in the forum, try those labs to get hands on to get more experience.

Re: Best Cisco Switch Finctionality?
Packet Tracer is not comparable with emulated switches.
But very good results for routing and switching are show using IOL and vIOS switches...
like below is created classic CBT Nuggets rack for CCNA course.. Used IOL switches.

or lot labs are shared:

All is in your hands only...
