HI ,

I am running below version of eve

root@eve-ng:~# dpkg -l eve-ng
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Architecture Description
+++-==============-============-============-=================================
ii eve-ng 2.0.3-60 amd64 A new generation software for net
root@eve-ng:~#

and using this in VM moreover using below cpu and RAM

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM

in VM i have set the below value of machine :

Number of processors : 1
Number of Core per processor : 3
and my board having 4 cores .

Even though using these value of i am getting very high % of my PC cpu why but very few RAM like of 5 to 6 GB from 10 GB allocated ??????????
is there any way so that i can adjust cpu in that way it would not hike as it much now .

actually you have x4 threads not cores mate..
So my advice set CPU on VM 4/1 + max ram, like 12Gb if you have 16 on PC...

i5 anyway will be ok for IOL Rs only, sorry, its weak

Hi Uldis ,
Thanks for your confirmation .
So what would be the best config with respect to multi cores /hyper threading that can run multiple firewall VM and load balancer since current config is weak
