Hi, I am doing a fresh install of EVE-NG Professional edition. After first bootup of EVE, I need to login with root/eve and choose my password, hostname, IP address etc again. Once this is done and EVE reboots again, I am unable to ping the static IP assigned to it. I do not see pnet0 or eth0 listed in interface list either (ifconfig), even though the configuration is present under /etc/network/interfaces.
When looking at interface status, I see eth0 is down. I can bring it up using 'ip link set eth0 up' but I cannot bring up pnet0. The error I receive is 'Could not find device pnet0'.
I have installed this on ESXi6.7. I followed the exact same steps for Community edition and I did not face any issues like this.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
