Post by tcpip » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:23 pm

Hi all,

I have a qcow2 from ubuntu, and some times I can see that any change I make is not being saved when I reboot or shutdown the server.

any ideas?

thanks.

no ideas,
because if Linux image is prepared following our how to, it is saving all what you did, and works after stop/start.
Of course if you add in other lab, linux settings will be only what are in default linux image

I used to love Ubuntu. Linux finally had grown up I remember long ago SUSE and Mandrake, the latter not being that bad yet. Then Canonical came up with that awful Unity Gnome 3. I am now loving Linux Mint 17.3, Mate

Overall a Linux based platform can perform most of the tasks equally as well as a Windows based platform using the likes of Ubuntu and its derivative distros
