Hi all,
I am trying to configure up a virtual network for L3 VPNs for testing purposes. Everything was going well until attempting to commit the changes. Here is the problem:
RT Instance: Only loopback interface is supported under vrf routing instances in triton mode.
Under "show chassis network-services" I have showing "enhanced-ethernet" which is not correct for trying to add ge interfaces to a VRF. The mode needs to be enhanced-ip so I add the followjng configuration statement:
set chassis network-services enhanced-ip
I then reboot the MX. However, the system has not changed fro ethernet to IP and no matter what I do it will not do this, so I cannot complete testing as I cannot configure the VRFs.
I know if using vMX on a linux box (KVM) then a license is required for this feature to work, however I cannot find a license for the eve-ng Junos OS version I am using (to be honest, I did not think a license would be required given this is a full working Junos-OS). Here are the details:
MX - using OS version: 18.2R1.9
If there is a license requirement does anyone know where I can get it from please?
Thanks in advance

Re: MX VRF Interface issue
Solved.
It is indeed a license requirement and it can be found here:
