Cisco IOL VMs console freeze

Does anybody know why after a while having LAB VMs running console get freeze and device doesn't reply to ping. Only wait to recover it is powering off and starting again the VM (Especially with Cisco IOL Images)

I am using start-up config for such VMs, not sure if that will make anything on this behavior.

Specially it happens with version IOL L3 15.5.2T
dont use it
