Can't delete lab with invalid filename

Post by gary87networkman » Tue Aug 05, 2025 9:25 am

Hi,

EVE Version 6.2.0-20 Professional.

I was experimenting with using the API to clone a lab and I've created a lab with an invalid filename (the API let me do this fine though and was succesful) but I am now unable to open or delete this lab using the web ui or API.

The filename is "Demo-auto-creation-project-<NEW-LAB-ID>" I guess it will be the <> characters that are causing the problem here. If I try and select the lab to open eve logs out and in again and gives a red toast error 20001. If I try and delete the lab I get a cannot load lab, invalid filename 20001 red toast error.

Is there a way I can delete all trace of this lab in the backend/CLI? Kind of a force delete.

Also interestingly, under the Management > Node Management Page in the web ui no running nodes are listed even though there are. I'm not sure if this is an effect of the invalid lab filename but the list running nodes feature seemed to stop working around the same time, though I can't be sure but thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Kind regards. Gary
