Migrating Unetlab to EVE

Post by zus » Sun Apr 02, 2017 1:25 am

Hi Guys,

I am unetlab user and would like to start using the new EVE. The question i have is how can i migrate my IOL, IOS, ASA ... images and all the labs i have in Unetlab to the new EVE.

Video or instructions would be beneficial for those of us who are new to the new platform of eve.

Thanks.

Migrating from UNL to EVE, there no direct migration available.

1. Stop UNL and Take backup of UNL all relavent folders, /opt/unetlab, (Make sure you save all the running configs of running labs, and stop all nodes).
2. Install EVE and upgrade to latest version. ( apt-get update , and apt-get upgrade).
3. Copy backup files in to EVE Server /opt/unetlab ( respected folders, example, IOL - /opt/unetlab/addons/iol/bin/)
4. /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions ( Fix permission)
5. Access GUI of EVE http://youreveip ( default admin/eve or try admin/unl).
6. check all the Images you have loaded working or not. and start upload your labs and test it.

Any issues post here !

good luck

R!
