Connect mode Button is missing

Upon finishing installation and upgrade, I noticed that "connect mode" button has been missed. Has anyone had similar issue?

Yeah, I noticed the same...however if you click on the right edge of the node, a link symbol comes up with a "connect" dialog...allows the same method of connecting both ethernet and serial links

and I see on your secreen that lab is lock red button pressed.. After lab is locked some functions like connect are disabled.
