Devices not using Exported Configs

Post by Professor » Mon Mar 27, 2017 11:32 pm

Hi,

I have a large lab that was imported from IOU-Web. I imported it into EVE-NG, I see the lab, pictures and initial configs. I set the all devices in the lab to use the Exported Config. I see the lightning sign beside each of the Devices in the Initial Config section, but when the devices boot they all go to the Initial config question.

How do I fix this.

Thank you

answer no and hit enter
and lets see then:)

Such behaviour on IOL nodes sometimes is observed. When you copy/paste as startup config something from notepad.
in result it is not natively built configuration on your EVE IOL node.
So in the first boot it load config but can still show this prompt yes/no....answer yes..
and lets see if cfg loads!
If it loads and all ok...I recommend do wr and export...cfg...then your node will boot correctly

Thank you,

What I did to fix the issue:
1. I copied 1 of the config into the first router.
2. Wr the config.
3. Exported the config for that router.
4. Restarted all devices and they loaded the configs.

Thank you,
