Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Set Start-Up from specific config-set

Post by rene0815 » Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:23 pm

Hi,

I am running a LAB in Eve-NG Pro and created different config-sets, each reflecting a spceific stage of the LAB:

Stage 0 - Only interfaces with IP config
Stage 1 - added IGP
Stage 2 - added iBGP-RR sessions
Stage 3 - added eBGP peerings

So if I am in Stage 3 and messed things up badly, I want to rollback to stage 1 just by setting the startup-configs
to config-set 1. However, anytime I do this the startup from Default set is taken. Unforunately, the Cookbook
also mentions only the use of the Default set. Is there a way to set the startup from a specific set or can I only copy-past
the config from the set into the node and 'commit replace' it?

Cheers,
Rene

This is simple....

Set the specific config set, wipe node and start it to apply chosen config....
