Re: Unable to reach router from external network
Is it laptop with wifi interface bridged to vm ware vmnet?
If yes then it is your wifi adapter issue not supported by vm ware.
Such happens very often even in windows environment.
If it is desktop, then you simply had not set right your vm ware and promiscue mode on trhe vm nets

Re: Unable to reach router from external network
thanks Uldis for the quick reply.
Have already enabled promiscuous on vmnets. Have also tried with libvirt/KVM on Ubuntu 19.10 but faced same problem.
It work smoothly on my window system.

Re: Unable to reach router from external network
Sad to say but it is Ubuntu 19 +vm ware issue then...
EVE itself has no any limits for interfaces..
If eve would have issues then would not work on windows or esxi as well...
Maybe check VM ware forums what people are saying about VM Ware workstation on Ubuntu desktop stations
