even if not connection, all interface are always UP on VIRL L2 image.

Hi I'm mash_441.
I'm facing the below problem.
Please help to me.

This is first time that using EVE-NG.
I have implemented CISCO-VIRL-L2 image according to EVE-NG documents.
VIRL L2 boot up is sucess, but It indicated that all interfaces are always up.

Switch#sh ip interface brief
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status Protocol
GigabitEthernet0/0 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet0/1 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet0/2 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet0/3 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet1/0 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet1/1 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet1/2 unassigned YES unset up up
GigabitEthernet1/3 unassigned YES unset up up
Switch#

I guess that the behavior is strange.

I am using image that vios_l2-adventerprisek9-m.03.2017.qcow2.

do you have any ideas how to fixe this issue.

Regards.

IT is image specific, so they does not support L1. It is not EVE issue.
In the EVE pro we had implemented link suspend feature which emulates broken cable. Here interface comes in state down/down
In EVE Community this feature is not available
