Been looking at a Dell R610 1u server to host my eve lab.
CPU - Intel Xeon X5660 Hex core x2
RAM - 96GB
Storage - 320GB

CPU - 2x Xeon E5-2640 Hex Core
RAM - 96GB
Storage - No storage will nee to purchase
Looking at installing paid version of ESXI due to having the free version only allowing 8vpu's per VM. Will the above spec's suffice? I can add more storage and memory if needed.
Also can anyone recommend how many vcpu's per core you would have?
Im currently using a free trial of GCP. Although good it's not the cheapest to scale. Also paying a monthly fee for storage even if I don't use annoys me.
