Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page

Post by Creed_Boboddy » Tue May 10, 2022 12:25 pm

Hello,

ESXI install about 2 weeks ago, came back in to use it yesterday and when i try to launch the GUI it comes up to the Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page

Not sure what would cause this, but it was working at one point.

Any one have an idea on why this might have happened, or how to fix?

Have only found one other instance of this on the forums and google has not been my friend on this one. :D

thanks

CB

Reinstalled -

Looks successful, i ran apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. Upon reboot it does not give me an up address to login to, displays

Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS eve-ng tty1

eve-ng login

I can login using the default

ifconfig displays

eth0 with the ip address, subnet and gateway i assigned during setup.
and the loopback up

VMware show the correct ip address

Network adapter is connected and i can ping the ip address from the network.

Not sure what i missed.

Thanks
