rollback to community

Post by 2600 » Sat Jun 04, 2022 8:52 pm

I am temporarily rolling back to community from pro edition. I also realized I'm on version 4.0.1-16-PRO--- update: upgraded to 5.0.1-15-PRO and still have the below issue.

I am following the guide

Code: Select all

https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/rollback-eve-professional-to-eve-community/
after dropping the database and I move to the next step, I get the following error, for which I don't know how to solve:

Code: Select all

root@eve-ng:~# apt install eve-ng-guacamole
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package eve-ng-guacamole is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  eve-ng-pro-guacamole

E: Package 'eve-ng-guacamole' has no installation candidate
root@eve-ng:~# apt install --reinstall eve-ng-guacamole
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package eve-ng-guacamole is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  eve-ng-pro-guacamole

Roll back to community the best is to make backup and then install new fresh community
