Can't login in from browser after installing the new version

Hello


Kindly need your support on this.

After I installed the new version of the EVE-NG Community which is 5.0.1. I can't login. So, after I go and check from the console I receive this:

I tried to update my server but didn't solve my issue. Further, I have deleted the VM and intstall but the same. If you know anything let me know.

Same here, came to make a post and saw yours.

Brand new install (twice now), simply cant login to the web front end. The login button / hitting enter does nothing. Tried different browsers and different PC's, nothing.

then i started googling, and found suggestions such as

cat /opt/unetlab/schema/guacamole-update.sql | mysql -u root --password=eve-ng guacdb

unl_wrapper -a restoredb

echo “drop database guacdb ;” | mysql –password=eve-ng mysql ; apt install –reinstall eve-ng-pro-guacamole
But even then i was thinking, i shouldn't have to do this on a clean install.

Anyone have any ideas?

Ok, so no I've tried multiple installs under VMWare workstation, and just now tried it under ESXi - every installation wont allow access to the web :/

UPDATE - in my instance I downloaded the OVA again and it seems to have come good.

Esxi install from ISO
you simply won't read our cookbook, EVE installation from ISO require live internet and resolve DNS !
if not, your EVE install stops on the half way, Ubuntu install only !

I have tried the OVA edition, but it didn't work for me. Right now I'm trying to install it again with Bridge network maybe it requires a real internet connection rather than NAT.

I will let you know soon

Alright, I will try your solution and check the cookbook. However, I had followed the documentation from EVE-NG, as far as I know it's the same as a cookbook

Unfortunately, didn't work even though I followed the EVE-NG cookbook. If anyone has an idea please suggest.

your given details for issue, sorry, but does not explain what you did and how. Even you are saying you followed Cookbook.

You did not join in the EVE Live chat and never asked help in there.
And your reported problem details are not clear my friend...
