IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL All Windows 10 versions

Post by ehman22 » Mon Jan 16, 2023 4:54 pm

I've been using EVE-NG community for a while now, but I have never been able to use a Windows 10 VM (I've tried 1903, 1909, 20h2, 22h2, and Server 2019). Booting from a disk or even the ISO results in immediate blue screen.
I have tried redownloading the ISOs, verfieid the hash, deleting the old disk, nothing solves the issue. Weirdly, Windows 7 boots just fine.
All Linux/Unix VMs run just fine.

My hardware:
AMD Ryzen 7 5700g
Asrock Rack x470d4u
Both CPU Virtualization and SR-IOV are enabled in the BIOS.

Logs:
/opt/unetlab/data/Logs has no error logs, only the unl wrapper logs:

All the problems online about IRQL always say to boot into safe mode, or reinstall. But I cant boot windows, at all. And I've tried replacing disks and ISOs, nothing works.

Whats the problem here? Not being able to use Windows for testing is a huge issue for me.

No one has run into this problem? This is a big problem for me, I can't test any windows 10 systems.

I have the same problem with Server 2019 (not testet with Windows 10 yet).

Server 2016 works

I also have a Ryzen CPU.

Same problem here with 2019. I also run Ryzen. 2016 appears to work.

I have two brand new Windows 10 computers that are almost identical. Only one or two programs added: MoveMouse and Office.
