EVE NG PRO First mac change

Hi
I would like to know about eve ng pro.
I found some document about first ethernet interface only few vendor template as below,
My question is other vendor than these vendor. changing first mac address still working?
Templates for
Cisco FirePower, F5, Linux,
and Citrix have the option to
manually set the MAC address for the first ethernet interface. This will enable
the use of licenses that are tied to a particular MAC address.
MAC Address format must be like: 00:50:0a:00:0b:00
