Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Interfaces still linked to the old node.

Post by bgp-lu » Mon Jul 08, 2024 6:52 pm

Hi folks,

In order to conduct some SR-MPLS tests with certain features, I started upgrading the XRVs from version 6.6.1 to 7.6.1. The problem I encountered is that when I shut down the corresponding nodes to link the new one, the interfaces are obviously removed, but when re-establishing the connections, it seems that they remain linked to the old node.

Is there a way to manually delete these associations? I am currently using the latest version of the community edition.

Attached is an image showing that the Ge-0/0/0/4 interface of the P1 node, which was linked to PE_1, is still listed as assigned

Thanks, Uldis. Simply stopping the lab and rebooting Eve worked.

The good thing is that since it's installed on the bare metal version with good hardware, the lab comes up in a few minutes.

Thanks for the help.
