Performance question

Post by mauric » Tue Jul 23, 2024 7:11 pm

Hello
iam not shure if me Proxmox 8.2/eve-ng comunity 6.2.0-4 have
problems with this running image:
> vios-adventerprisek9-m.spa.159-3.m8.qcow2
from ExeCalc i read that one vCore needed

if starting now 10 Routers "QEMU" the LAB-Server are near be frized.
losing now 2 Days and i need to go forrward in me class. so
please frendly aksing for little help.

the server i have also new installed, but nothing changed
the LAB-Server E5-Xeon-2680v3, 128Gb Mem, and 4Tb SSD

i have diffrent cpu perspectives
>Proxmox 6% CPU
>Memory 20%

Eve-NG 100% CPU
>Memory 4%
>DIsk usage 20%

so i read also that images qcow2 are mostly slow and CPU hungry
i have here any possibilities? i need to work forward, but under
this point of view are this impossible.

Router bin files are mostly quicker, exist any chance to convert this qcow2 file?

I'd suggest using esxi or bare metal in this case.
