Arista vEOS 4.20.2 Unreliable boot

Post by Tommiy » Mon Jan 22, 2018 8:47 pm

I'm using 2.0.3-86 on a Mac Pro with Fusion and have been trying to use the Arista 4.20.2 vEOS image to test graph and telemetry but it does not like to boot consistently. Some times it will boot up fine other times it will appear to crash and then other times it gives a fault of not being able to start IPv6 filters and iptables and then either boot correctly and or crash. I'm using version 8.0.0 of About but I don't think that is the problem. I've tried given it more RAM but it still has the same issue. I've tried different QEMU options other than the template config but had no luck getting a consistent boot. Once it is running it seems to be fine .ie. I have not found anything that does not yet work.

Anyone else had a similar issue and has been able to find a solution?
