I have my own virtual appliance I would like to import into EVE.

I have a VMDK, which I assume can be converted to qcow2

And I have an ISO which I could install from scratch

What do you think is the best approach and pls point me to something similar so I can try and replicate the steps.

Thanks

Thank-you, I am trying to install from ISO per your first link.

I noticed that I had to prefix the name of the directory with linux-mymachine in /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu to get it to show up in the webUI (under linux), is it possible to create it's own category "mymachine" on the interface as well?

I have it set with correct cpu/ram/disk and am trying to boot. It hangs with
Booting from local disk...
and never moves. Any ideas?

Also got this to work by using VNC Viewer!
