Hello fellow EVE users !
I have a problem with my lab, I'm trying to use a cisco XRV 9000 router and while it starts and seems to work properly I can't see any interfaces from the cisco CLI apart from null0 and Mgmteth0, did anybody else have this problem and solved it?

Other kind of images work perfectly (CSR1000v, standard XRV, vIOS and IOL).

My configuration :
EVE ng 2.0.3-90 with qemu 2.4.0 on a bare-metal install of ubuntu 16.04.
Intel VT-x support is enabled.
My image is the official qcow2 image from cisco, I have tested with 2 different XRv9000 versions : 6.2.2 and 6.0.1.
I have tried changing the interfaces type as I saw it could be a problem but it never works be it using virtio-net-pci, vmxnet3 or e1000 interfaces type.

If you need other info on my setup, I'll be happy to answer.

advice boot forst time, then stop and start node again...
BTW what CPU you have on your server??

I gave it time (more than 10 minutes after gaining console access), so I'm not sure the problem lies there.

As for the CPU I'm using a server with 2 quadcores Intel Xeon E5472 @ 3.0 GHz.

Ok thanks for the answer, at least I know why it doesn't work.
I'll try to see if I can upgrade the machien I'm working or use something else than the XRv9k

I can confirm that (at least for bare metal installation), the Gigabit interfaces will only show up on Intel CPUs. I tried to get xrv9k 6.5.2 running on AMD Opteron server, didn't work. After installing Eve-NG bare metal on Intel Xeon, with exactly the same configuration, Gigabit interfaces showed up immediately.

Sorry but it is question to vendor now...
