Cisco ACS 5.8 install

Hi,

I need some assistance properly creating/importing the Cisco ACS 5.8.0.32 image into EVE-NG

I used VMware Fusion to create my main file. I took the largest vmdk and converted that to a qcow2 image, but it doesn't boot up once in EVE. I suspect it may have something to do with the telnet, but I have no idea.

When I try to use guestfish to access the fs, I have the following:

Code: Select all

><fs> mount /dev/smosvg/rootvol /
libguestfs: error: mount: mount_stub: /dev/smosvg/rootvol: No such file or directory
Telnet just sits there, so I changed to vnc to connect, and this is what I got (attached), making me think that I have a fubared image. If there is any useful guide on this, that would be wonderful!

Note, I did read this: https://www.itstudygroup.org/Thread-How ... in-UNL-Lab
I am on a Mac running Fusion, however.

Thank you in advance.

It seems the solution to my issue was that I needed to create the vmdk as one file from the get-go. Now that that is good, I noticed that I had to go into the running config, and re-apply the default-gateway and the ip address to get network reachability.

THEN, I needed a demo license to get it to run. If anyone wants to follow that:
