Post by steve.wonder » Sat Mar 25, 2017 9:57 pm

Hello all,
How can I map internal F5 VM' interface to the main eve-ng VM so I can access F5's GUI from the LAN (my PCs browser)

Many thanks,
Steve

If i understand your question correct.
you want to connect F5 VM running in ESXi to EVE-NG.
In this case you can connect using cloud or Pnet1.

if my understand wrong, give more description to understand.

Ok, If F5 running inside EVE-NG, Connect your F5 management interface to Pnet0 and configure one of LAN IP address, so you can access GUI.

Hope that helps you !

I have created a new object 'network' with type field as 'pnet0'
connected mgmt interface of F5 to the newly created object,

changed mgmt-bp interface IP then eth0 on F5 to match my LAN subnet (including mask) and still failing,
any clue of what am doing wrong

thanks,

In the EVE pnet names are changed to Cloud.
pnet0=Cloud0

Hi Guys,

Just wondering , did you guys managed to able to console to F5 cli inside EVE-NG ?
Currently setup EVE-NG inside nested ESXi ( Vmware Workstation ).

You can of course use F5 directly inside EVE instead of Esxi... It is fully supported
