I've been developing a new application to support my CCNA/CCNP studies, and I'd love to share it with the community.
Pyqttyia is an open-source terminal tool designed for network administrators to connect to devices via Telnet/SSH. It features independent scripting support for Cisco, EVE-NG, Linux, and more — with a modern dark UI built in Python + Qt.
Key FeaturesMulti-device tabbed sessions (Telnet & SSH)
Script editor with Cisco IOS syntax highlighting and line numbers
Send scripts to all devices simultaneously
Full ANSI terminal emulation
Interactive topology viewer — load your network diagram and click directly on devices to open their sessions
Built-in map editor — draw, drag, resize and name device hotspots over your topology image, then export as JSON
Workspace save/load
Catppuccin Mocha dark theme
I'm finishing the documentation and will release the source code on GitHub soon.
What's next? My goal is to integrate AI to assist network administrators directly within Pyqttyia (Python + Qt + TTY + AI).
If anyone has suggestions or feature requests, I'm very open to feedback!
