Arista vEOS maximum 24 interfaces?

Hi,

EVE-NG Pro 2.0.5-21-PRO with VEOS 4.21.1.1F

when I put more the 24 ethernet interfaces in a vEOS image, it doesn't boot (goes immediately back to grey icon). Is there a known maximum number of interfaces limit in EVE-NG? If so, is it possible to increase it?

Looking at the logs I see:

(process:48542): GLib-WARNING **: /build/glib2.0-7ZsPUq/glib2.0-2.48.2/./glib/gmem.c:483: custom memory allocation vtable not supported
qemu-system-x86_64: -device e1000,netdev=net29,mac=50:00:00:0a:00:1d: PCI: no slot/function available for e1000, all in use

Thanks,
Sven.

Many thanks,

Hi Uldis,

I asked Arista if they have a method to raise this limit, but they came back to me saying "The limit is imposed by the hypervisor, not by the VM.". So now I'm totally confused. :-)

Would it be possible to send me just the paragraph where this limit is mentioned in the internal document? I need to prove them that the problem is with them?

Thanks,
Sven.
