Hello,

I'm new member of Eve-ng community, recently i installed the eve-ng Community image on my PC using vmware workstation, everything went well with install and images, but after i started doing my first lab i'm struggled in ping between nodes, i removed all the firewalls on my pc and vm, tried in different ios image still can't ping between 2 nodes, i tried to sniff the traffic with wireshark there is no ICMP traffic between two simple config in nodes.

I tried in Cisco IOL L2/L3 images different versions.

If somebody had the same problem, i would be happy to hear from you.

check your eve root cli
ifconfig

do you see nat0 adapter in there?

Yes i can see the Nat0 adapater, do i need to disable it.

I tried to shutdown the interface nat0, as you can see the same result.

There is an arp but i can't ping the node.

if you have ve community, interface nat MUST not be there !!!!

reinstall proper eve community and all will work

After i reinstalled from the beginning i don't have that issue, thank you very much for your advice.

reinstallation is the best solution when we could not find the mistake
