Total Noob apologies.
I'm driving into the world of security and have been gifted an ada 5505 and a fortinet 60d. Is it possible to connect these via a physical switch to my laptop or networks so I can emulate Vpns over a WAN etc.
My setup is laptop with single NIC and eve VM running in
VMware workstation pro.
I'm planning on building a pc with a bit more horse power but testing out to make sure it will be a worthwhile investment first.
Cheers.

Re: Connecting physical firewalls to eve-ng nodes
Possible,
I did similar with ESXi EVE VM,
Not sure if this will work with laptop NIC, because by default L2 packets transfer on Windows is locked by default.
