I've been using EVE-NG for my network simulations, and I'm currently running it on a virtual machine (VM). While it works well, I've noticed some performance issues, especially when running multiple labs simultaneously.
Could anyone share tips or best practices for optimizing EVE-NG performance on a VM? Specifically, I'm interested in:poppy playtime chapter 3
1. Recommended VM configurations (CPU, RAM, storage).
2. Any specific settings or tweaks within EVE-NG that can enhance performance.
3. Experiences with different hypervisors (e.g., VMware, KVM) and which one you found to be the most efficient.

Re: How to Optimize EVE-NG Performance on a Virtual Machine?
1. More cpu cores the better, latest xeon cpus with clock base 2.3-2.4Ghz are good. Faster ram is better 3600mhz and above (low timings). Storage wise nvme is the way to go.
2. There are no tweaks really. The only tweak is your hardware, the newer, better, faster is what you need.
3. Vmware Esxi would be your best choice among hypervisors. Bare Metal is the winner though.
