Need help activating 3640 images

I can activate 3640 images when I try to add a node but fail. Although I have some 3640 images, I noticed that the 3600 dynamips I created do not work. I have checked the configuration files and made sure that the IOS image I used is correct, but still have problems booting the router. If anyone has experience in activating this image, please share instructions or tips so I can solve this problem.
