Hi,

I just saw that eve-ng is able to run VMware vCenter. But I could not find any How to to get this running. I found an Twitter Post about this topic and followed it. But I'm not sure which steps I am missing.

https://twitter.com/EVE_NG_TEAM/status/ ... 1221101568

What I did:
  • I created a new folder:
/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/vcenter-6.5
  • added the 12 disks:
for example: /opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img create -f qcow2 satam.qcow2 100G
  • copied the vcsa iso image to the folder and renamed it to cdrom.iso
I can now add the new node to my topology and start the node. What are the next steps to install the vCenter Appliance?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,
Mike

No Mike.

unzip vcntre ISO and get out ova, vcentre appliance.
Then unzip it you will have x3 vmdk hdds.
So those must be converted sataa, satab, satac.
Rest 10 images must be created accordingly our table.

size makes sense.

http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... ages-table

All hdds loaded in folder vcenter-6.5.xxxxx

now your image will be ready to start.

if still issues visit live helpdesk..

Are there any changes for running/installing 6.7? I've followed the directions and have waited >30 mins with no output on the console.
